GIA Style Card: Uptown Girl

Over 26 years ago Billy Joel musically fantasized about the object of his affection: Uptown Girl – a being of supreme feminine elegance and urban sophistication with “downtown” romance aspirations. While professing his working class love for the goddess, Joel laments:

Uptown girl
You know I can’t afford to buy her pearls
But maybe someday when my ship comes in
She’ll understand what kind of guy I’ve been
And then I’ll win

Chances are, the Uptown Girl can afford her own pearls these days. She just needs her “downtown” man to keep the bed warm.

Zaara’s Larin skirt is an ideal supplement to the wardrobe of the Second Life girl living in her “uptown world”. The skirt is available in 3 pattern types: art prints (forest-splash, copper-rust, silver-lilac), neutrals (ebony, ash, ivory) and solid tartans (wine, navy, tan). Narin’s assymetrical-cut hem, high waist and curve-hugging, satiny design easily creates a bouncy-flouncy, flirtatious spirit.
