GLANCE Magazine: No. 4 @ January 2010: Taurus Fashion Zodiac Style Card

This month, GLANCE Magazine looked forward with a style forecast for 2010 – 60 pages of astrological trendsetting for male and female avatars from Aries to Pisces.

This stylists assignment was the Taurean male:

Colour: Pink

Taureans buy the most expensive designer clothes, but would still hang on to their old clothes.

Taureans generally have a muscular build.

Men appreciate the subtleties of formal wear. They certainly look handsome in single-breasted suits.

Beige, browns and pastel shades will suit their temperament.

Women should avoid skimpy skirts and go for streamlined and sleek dresses. Traditional dresses with earthy prints will looks the best on them. They should avoid wearing extra large clothes in an effort to look lean.

GLANCE Magazine: No. 2 @ November 2009: “Brown Skin”

For those who identify with a lighter persuasion, skin product selections in Second Life™ have always been plentiful. For those in search of skin options in the realm of darker-tones for wont to compliment their pixelated physiques, finding quality options can be less straightforward. Many talented designers offering skin collections have not yet explored a full range of skin tones which, admittedly, is not an easy process. In creating dark skins, the ability to balance tone, shade and highlights to create dimensionality can be a daunting task. That being said, we’ve come a long way from the days when Celestial Studios, Naughty Designs and Pixel Deep were a few of the known options available for female residents in search of quality skin rendered by a sensitive and artful hand. The good news for avatars who have chosen to be kissed by the sun is that choices have grown exponentially – particularly within the past year-and-a-half.
